Liebe Freunde des SPEISEKINO,Am Donnerstag, dem 25.07.2019, zeigen wir den Film „Von Bienen und Blumen“. Das Thema: Überall in Deutschland herrscht Landflucht. Die Menschen ziehen aus den Dörfern in die Städte. Die Stadtbewohner dagegen errichten ihre eigenen Projekte, um ihre Landlust zu befriedigen. „Von Bienen und Blumen“ ist ein persönlicher, humorvoller Dokumentarfilm von Lola Randl über ihr Projekt, den Großen Garten in Gerswalde in der Uckermark.
Der Abend findet in Kollaboration mit dem KünstlerInnen-Kollektiv Moabees – einem in Moabit ansässigen Projekt, das städtische Honigbienen und ihre Honigproduktion aus einer neuen Perspektive beleuchtet.
Die Zutaten des Gerichts diese Woche stammen zum Teil aus Gerswalde und natürlich stammt der verwendete Honig aus der Produktion der Moabees. Serviert wird ein gepflückter Salat mit wilden Kräutern und Blumen (Ringelblume, Kapuzinerkresse, u.v.m.), gekochte Pfirsiche mit einer Vinaigrette. Als Hauptgericht gibt es diese Woche ein Thymianpolenta mit geröstetem, saisonalem Gemüse aus Gerswalde, serviert mit einem Honig-Petersilien-Pesto.
Der Eintritt zum Film ist wie immer kostenlos. Essen ab 19.30 Uhr, Filme um 20:30 Uhr.

Dear FOOD AND FOOTAGE-friends,Thursday, 25 July 2019, we’ll have a screening of ‘The Birds and the Bees’. Everywhere in Germany, people are moving away from the villages. In return, city dwellers are starting their own projects to satisfy to their Landlust . ‘The Birds and the Bees’ is a personal and humorous documentary by Lola Randl about her project, the Great Garden in Gerswalde in the German region Uckermark.
The evening is in collaboration with the artists group Moabees – a Moabit based project with new perspectives on honeybees in the city and their honey production.
The ingredients for this week’s dinner are partly from Gerswalde and of course with honey from the Moabees. A picked salad with wild herbs and flowers (marigold, nasturtium etc), stewed peaches and vinaigrette will be served. As a main, there will be thyme polenta with roasted vegetables of the season from Gerswalde with a honey and parsley pesto.
Entrance to the film is free as usual. Food from 7.30 p.m., films from 8.30 p.m.
A meal costs €10.
