Temperatursummen werden in der Landwirtschaft verwendet (Grünlandtemperatur).

[Bei Betrachtungen] sollen nun auch die Landschaftstypen berücksichtigt werden.
Dafür wird als Datenquelle CORINE Landbedeckung 2018 verwendet.

Dort konnte ich noch ein Vorhaben im Rahmen des Copernicus Programms entdecken, die das Thema in die Anwendung bringen wollen. Es geht wohl im weitesten Sinne darum, “precision farming” (precise apiculture) zu betreiben, u.U. aber auch, das mit “pollinators protection” zu verbinden.

The take away is that they measure the amount of red light compared to infrared and if there’s more red the plants are less healthy.
