Has anyone tried to create a coin cell powered device to transmit temperature, humidity and sound from within the hive, similar to the “Hive Heart” beehivemonitoring device.
The hardware appears very simple, just a BGM13P device with a MEM’s mic and SHT30 temp\humidity.
I was thinking to use a nRF52832 to create something similar (with Arduino code). Transmit the temp\humidity, frequency buckets and volume on the BLE advertisement.
I currently have a wire inside the hive for this but it is annoying when adding\removing supers or inspecting.
