eine neue LoRa-Funkprotokollsoftware („RadioShuttle“) entwickelt, die sehr effizient schnell und sicher Nachrichten zwischen einfachen LoRa-Modulen verschicken kann. Diese Software ist gleichermaßen als Knoten (Node) oder als Station (Server) einsetzbar.

Das standardisierte LoRaWAN-Protokoll wird nicht genutzt, da es nicht effektiv genug ist, keine direkte Knoten-zu-Knoten-Kommunikation unterstützt und für viele Anwendungen zu teuer und zu kompliziert ist.

Is the RadioShuttle protocol open source?

At the moment it is not. Experienced C++ developers with a good knowledge of network protocol development, who are interested in the refinement of RadioShuttle, are welcome. For security audits of the RadioShuttle software the source code is available for examination on-site (Hannover).
