It’s been a long time since I last wrote to this group, and I thought the New Year was a good excuse to reach out. I hope you all have exciting ideas and projects lined up for the months to come — the bees certainly need them!
Perhaps 2026 will also be a year of major leaps in AI. Hive monitoring is still at a very early stage, with so much potential left to explore… Who knows — maybe Apimondia 2029 in Germany will turn out to be a truly groundbreaking event. That’s what I sincerely wish for all of us as beekeepers and contributors to this field.
