Just a quick share. While this is probably not exactly rocket science, it is nice to have it written down for others to reproduce. While we haven’t checked, the articles by Andreas Happe read solid and to the point.
What is left to do in the future?
Replace the under-powered TP-Link with a Raspberry Pi-clone device. The TP-Link already has too little flash memory to utilize the latest version of OpenWRT so an upgrade might be sensible anyway. I should think what to do with the additional computing capacity of a Raspberry though… some sort of SmartHome/HomeAutomatisation solution would be great…
